Amazing Air with Archery

Pull back on the bow, look down the length of the arrow and take aim. Ready, steady, fire! The arrow flies straight and true through the air – bull’s eye! Our resident archery specialist will teach you how to safely use a bow and arrow for target practice at our high desert archery range. All skill levels are welcome, so whether you are an experienced sharpshooter, or this is your first time doing archery, you will learn new skills. In addition to archery, kids will enjoy all of the usual fun Mountain Kids! activities – nature games, tracking, shelter building, crafting and more!

Did you know? Arrows shot in competition fly 2.5 times faster than a sprinting cheetah.

This week we will learn about mud, clay and camouflage in a variety of ways.  We’ll muck in the mud, create with clay, and combine both art forms to camouflage ourselves in nature. We’ll become stealthy stalkers in sneaking and hiding games and be ready for a good scrub after this week of muddy fun!
