Backcountry Service Trip with SF Fat Tire Society & Backcountry Horsemen

May 28 - May 31

Ages 11-15 | Tuesday-Friday in the Backcountry

During this four-day backcountry trip into the Santa Fe National Forest, campers will learn skills in team work, trail maintenance and back country camping.

Wilderness Skills with Campout

June 3 - June 7

Ages 9-13 | Monday - Friday | 8:30–4pm | Early & After Care Available | Overnight campout in survival shelters

This camp teaches survival basics: fire, water and survival shelter.  We will build survival shelters in which we'll sleep in our campout overnight.

Bikes & Boats: MTB, Kayaking and Overnight Campout

June 10 - June 14

Ages 9-13| Monday - Friday | 8:30–4pm | Early & After Care Available

Mountain Biking, Kayaking & Overnight Campout! This is an action-packed, skill-building camp for kids eager to get out and push themselves and have fun on bikes and on the water.

Backpacking Wheeler Peak

June 17 - June 21

Ages 11-15 | Monday - Friday | 8:30–4pm | Early & After Care Available | Two Overnights Camping

This backpacking trip will teach campers how to prepare and pack for a backpacking trip, as well as provide them with opportunities for outdoor leadership and teamwork.

Photo Safari

June 24 - June 28

Ages 9-13 | Monday - Friday | 8:30–4pm | Early & After Care Available

Join us for a week of fun hiking, learning about photography and capturing the beauty of nature on camera.

Mud, Clay and Camouflage

July 1 - July 5

Ages 5-8 & 9-13 | Monday - Friday | 8:30–4pm | Early & After Care Available | We will have camp on July 4th

Playing in mud is a great joy of childhood. It also has advantages! This week we will learn about the uses and benefits of mud, clay and camouflage --while having fun getting dirty.

Forest Survival with Archery

July 8 - July 12

Ages 9-13 | Monday - Friday | 8:30–4pm | Early & After Care Available

During this week we will explore survival basics: fire, water, shelter, first aid and archery. Campers will gain hands-on experience with valuable survival skills, and also have time to run, play and sit quietly to appreciate the beauty of nature.

Survival Hunting Tools

July 15 - July 19

Ages 9-13 | Monday - Friday | 8:30–4pm | Early & After Care Available

We will learn how to make survival tools that ancient people used to capture animals in the wild.  Campers will make their own survival bow and arrow, spear, and rabbit stick.

Bikes and Boats

July 22 - July 26

Ages 9-13 | Monday - Friday | 8:30–4pm | Early & After Care Available

This fun-filled camp offers time on mountain bikes, in kayaks and hiking on trails. We'll learn new skills, gain confidence and make new friends in the outdoors.

Campers will learn survival basics: fire, water, shelters, with a focus on exploring trapping techniques that our ancestors and native peoples used to feed and clothe themselves.
