Mountaineers! (for Teens & Tweens)
January 9 - May 15
An event every 2 weeks that begins at 12:00 am on Saturday, repeating until January 9, 2021

Do your Teens and Tweens need some time away from screens, outside in nature?
Mountaineers is a new program for youth ages 12-16 who want to get outside and learn new skills.
Youth will learn survival, teamwork & leadership skills. They will find time for outdoor play, hiking and/or mountain biking, and will have a chance to learn survival skills from Jessie Kreb, of SERE Training. They will build character and tolerate adversity; building important life skills while having fun.
Activities include:
- Monthly Saturday Meetings
- Wilderness Survival Skills: Orienteering, Signaling, First Aid, Improvised & Tarp Shelter-Building, Knots, Finding and Purifying Water, Orienteering, Firecraft, Safe Knife-use, Whittling, and Archery
- Hiking and/or Mountain Biking
- Games (Capture the Flag, Camouflage, etc.)
Challenge Level:
COVID-safe practices will be followed. Adult: Camper Ratio is 1:5
January – May | One Saturdays Monthly | 11 am-4 pm | $375 + tax
Backpacking Trip (optional): $285 + tax
Survival Skills Training with Jessie Kreb: March 5-7 – $285 + tax
