Ever wondered what kinds of edible and medicinal plants live in our forests? This week we will learn what we can eat and spend time cooking and creating medicine from local, wild plants. We will search for huckleberries and make some hearty foods for the trail including pemmican, bannock and fruit leather. We will develop a deeper understanding of the gifts of nature and how to use them.
