Mountain Kids! partners with Title I public schools in Santa Fe to get 2nd & 3rd-grade students outside—learning, exploring, and building confidence in their own backyard. Through seasonal, curriculum-connected field trips to local mountains and waterways, kids connect classroom learning to the natural world and discover the joy of outdoor adventure.

Past Grant Awards
Since 2020, Mountain Kids! has been awarded more than $100,000 in grant funding to support the implementation of our Outdoor Equity Program. These funds have gone directly toward creating opportunities for all children to explore, learn, and thrive in nature—helping ensure that outdoor adventure and environmental education are accessible to youth from every background.
